The Belgian capital hides a multitude of surprising stories and mysteries. With this adventure quest, you'll discover the city's secrets in a fun way. Will you be able to crack the code?
The experience consists of a 14-stop treasure hunt on foot. During this self-guided tour of 4.5 kilometres (2.7 miles), which will take you between 1.5 and 2 hours, you'll have to solve riddles, crack codes, answer questions and complete other challenges in the historic centre of Brussels. To do so, you'll receive the clues on your phone via an app.
The route starts at the Porte de Flandre tram station. From there, you'll travel through iconic landmarks of the Belgian capital such as the Grand Place. In addition, you'll also pass by other important places like the Royal Palace or the churches of Sainte-Catherine and Sablon. The last clue of the game will take place in front of the Palace of Justice. Are you ready to solve the riddles of Brussels?
What is the Story of the Quest?
The story of this quest is as follows: you'll step into the role of Olympus Peraux, a famous detective from 1926 who returns to his native Belgium on a top-secret mission.
This private investigator has been hired by the young Princess Astrid of Sweden, who, with her impending wedding to Prince Leopold of Belgium approaching, has serious concerns for her safety.
The princess has received an anonymous threatening letter sent by a carrier pigeon, demanding that she cancel her royal wedding or else she will be killed. To prevent this, you'll have to solve the riddles of Brussels' origins - you must protect the Swedish heiress!
